Amazing discovery!

So after watching a lot of videos on youtube.... I stumbled upon Sephora and Ulta. O.M.G...I'm soo much in love. If only i resided in the US, then the world would be so right again. After visiting the websites, i must admit, i am truly saddened. What variety, what beautiful products, what a knife to my heart :( . I recently saw two palettes that I absolutely fell in love with and have to get from Ulta, which i do intend to order for myself for Christmas. I have been good, and even if Santa isn't getting me those item, I'm sure getting it for myself. They are so reasonable, they were both on sale for no more than $20 US, so yes mama sees something she wants, and she's getting it! Love it. Such value for your money. And i believe in value. Hope its money worth spending. Will inform you all of the products, and let you know how great they were. I can hardly wait! Goodnight!

Dream Mousse Product Review

So yesterday, I went to one of the local pharmacies in my area. I went to see if they had a particular item that I've been longing to try for quite a while now. Elf's creme eye shadows. I also picked up four of maybelline's dream mousse shadows in colours, blue heaven, vanilla veil, mint dream and heavenly pink and I also purchased elf's shimmering facial whip. At first, when I tested one of the dream mousse shadows, the vanilla veil, the effect it gave was really beautiful and immediately I fell in love.. After using all four today I have to refute my statement. The colours weren't bright enough at all. When applied to my eye, there wasn't a hint of pink, blue or green. The only one that really stood out was the vanilla veil which I used as a highlight. Maybe If I didn't conceal my eyes, just maybe, the colours may have shown alot brighter. I had to use two colours from Nyx to enhance the colour. I'll have to try again without concealer. With regards to the elf shimmer face whip, they said it wasn't sticky or greasy. I strongly disagree. Maybe it's just me though, but when i blended the product, it gave me a sticky feeling. I haven't tried the creme eyeshadow from Elf as yet. But when I do, I will be updating y'all. STAY TUNED!

Quick weave Guide

Things you'll need for this look:
Pair of barber scissors
Razor Comb
Hair bonding glue (any brand)
Hair Spray
Weave
Blow Dryer
Stocking Caps
And of course, a Mirror.

So recently, I've decided to play "brave" and weaved my entire head, it came out good for a first timer. Love the weave, the style, the look it gives me. I just totally love it. And I have decided to keep trying weaving to get better at it. Now this type of weaving is known as a "Quick weave", and I will tell you how i did it, so you can achieve that look as well. Quick weaves are very simple, basically as the hair is bonded on to a stocking cap (some women bond it directly to their hair, i wouldn't advise that) and not actually sewn in. So, you can do it for yourself, or you can have a friend do it for you. Now the 1st step would be to braid in your hair. My assumption was that leaving your hair out to make contact with the glue isn't the best idea. So braid in your hair, probably in a french braid. My hair is short, so i used tiny braids, i also parted a piece in front so that I can let my natural hair down. (this is optional to you) 2nd step is spritzing the hair and applying slight gel, just to keep your hair neat, and also to make the cap stick to your head, you will then blow dry your hair till its dry. When your finished doing that, you can apply the stocking/wig cap to your head. I used two. This way less glue gets to your hair. Next, proceed to spritz the stocking cap and blow dry until it's dried. After all of that, you get your weave. Take the weave and measure piece in the back, horizontally (from ear to ear), cut out the piece then apply the glue, blow dry a little bit, then stick to the cap, take the hair spritz, spray the track you just applied, then firmly press while you blow dry. This will allow for the track to "hold" better. Follow this same procedure, until you reach half way through your hair. Next you can bring the track all the way to the front at the sides, make sure you hold the tracks properly, as this step is a little difficult and you want the best fit. When you reach to the parted section, stop. Grab a pair of scissors and proceed to cut the stocking cap along the lines of the part. If you followed each procedure correctly, the cap would not move. After you finish cutting along the lines, you can style your hair according to the style of the weave, you can even add a little colored piece and shag it down, if you wanna be funky. That's what I did. There are many other ways to do a quick weave. This was my first attempt at it, so i didn't want to do anything that i was not comfortable doing, and you should to. The next quick weave I will try is the invisible part quick weave, and also an attempt at making a quick weave wig. So stay tuned for that. Check out my look below. I used French Twist from Milky Way, I used 1 and a half pack. Be sure you have enough weave, because if you don't, you can end up with an incomplete look. I know, i did that, LOL. Have fun experimenting girls.

My Shoe Fetish!

Let's talk shoes...Do you speak the language??? So when I was younger, basically in my teenage years, I was obsessed with wearing sneakers, yes sneakers... Today, as I have matured into a young woman, I've tucked away the sneaks, and pulled out the boots, pumps, stilettos, flats, and wedges, all of different heights, sizes and styles. I've suddenly found myself in the midst of a shoes fetish. It's kind of scary though, who would've thought that I, Cherise, would love shoes so much. I've came a long way. I love shoes so much now, that I have pairs that I've never worn, pairs that are uncomfortable but hot, pairs that are somewhat too big for me, and some that are too small, lol. I know a lot of ladies can relate, even some males, because, just how us ladies have shoe fetishes, some men have sneakers fetishes, square tips fetishes and also the slip your feet in me slipper fetishes, ha. So don't you just love shoes? It beats the hell out of walking bare feet, I'm just kidding. Leave a comment. Tell me what's your favorite type of shoes ladies, and gents what's your fave as well. Mines are pumps, I'd die for a cute pair of pumps.

Makeup Mania

Hey girls...and some guys. Today my blog is about one of the greatest inventions of all times. Hello! MAKEUP. Lol. I don't know about y'all but I'm a makeup fanatic. I just love it, especially eye-shadows. I got them by the dozens, from palettes to quads, to the single ones, in pigments, in mattes, different brands. You name it, i got it. Well, OK not all of it, but you get my point. I hardly ever not wear makeup to leave home, and it's not necessarily like i need it, but i love it so much that i don't wanna live without it. It's like some women with hair. Some of them don't need it, but it's all about choice and your personal style and what makes you feel good as a person. I love makeup because it enhances my features and also, because I get to change up my look. I don't want the next 20 years to meet me looking the same way I did yesterday. Um, NO. I know the "critics" would say, but it damages your skin, and blah, blah, blah. My response would be, so long as Facials still exist, i don't think I got a problem, and it's not as if i wear makeup at home or to bed, NOPE, I let my skin breathe. I also try as much as i could to develop a "Good Skin Regiment", and also giving myself mini facials at home, although I am having a hard time finding the right facial product, but that's a whole other topic. I love Makeup just as much as I love Shopping. It completes my whole Diva Image. Even though I'm not a professional, I think I've did an alright job at it, i experiment a lot to get better...PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT! So after reading this you should know that my fave piece of makeup is eye shadows...What's yours?

Shopping is my hobby!

Mz. Diva Fabulous...The name suggests it all. I am a diva who is just simply fabulous. Because "Fabulousity" rocks!!!!I love being a girly girl, in every way. I love getting dressed up, I love getting "made-up", I love style/fashion and of course SHOPPING! How else can I endorse the name Mz. Diva Fabulous. Like others who Hobbies are sports, (football, basketball, netball, tennis, hockey) or outdoor activities like Hashing or Hiking or for those who love the gym, my hobby is shopping. I can even go far enough to say, shopping is my sport. I can't even begin to explain the joy I get from shopping. It's like when i shop, the sun is always shining, and when I can't it's lightning, thunder, heavy rains and floods...When I feel bad, I shop, when I need something to wear to the hottest party tonight, I shop, when I just wanna do something, I shop. Because if you didn't know, well now you do....I LOVE SHOPPING!!!However, lately I've found it hard to shop in my country, because we are limited to styles and also a lot of bootleg. I feel like a choked up little butterfly. But all's well that ends well, right? Yes Mam. It's something I'm most passionate about, because I agree with this phrase "making a statement without saying a word". When I step out in the streets, hello, you better call the paparazzi, this girl deserves to walk on a red carpet...Lol...I love it so much that I want to pursue a career in an industry where shopping is not "frowned upon" or being a diva is not a crime. Thanks for reading my blog, and let me know what you girls and guys think. Drop a comment if you agree with me...
